Wiring idea...possible?

The guitar in question is my Jackson DR-7 that is equipped with a DMZ Evo7/Air Norton 7, two push/pull pots and a 3 way toggle switch. The pots are individual volumes for both pups and individually switch the pups into singlecoil mode.
I discovered that i never used mixed positions with one pup in humbucking adn the other in SC mode so i want to use just one push/pull to split both of them(no problem here) and do something else with the other one.

I thought about using the second switch to put both pups in parallel mode. is this even doable with regular 4 conductors? having both a coil split and parallel available at the same time?

If this doens't work how about making the second one a phase switch for out of phase sounds?

Unfortunately, you can't do parallel on two pups with one switch, (unless its a 4PDT switch). You can do phase, though.

Re: Wiring idea...possible?

For out of phase i only need to rewire only one pup(The one to go out of phase with the other),right?
I'm not so informed about out-of-phase sounds(actually never used a guitar with out-of-phase option), How would it sound and does it matter what pup i wire to the phase switch?

Re: Wiring idea...possible?

Ok,i did my research and just want to confirm what i think so far.

Two HB in out of phase mode will give me a rather thin and nasal sound.
But having both pups split and then out of phase should give me a humcancelling mid position rather close to a bucker in parallel.

Am i right so fa?(might do the wiring today)
