No. :)

The trick is, you can't have the #4 thang. There's no way to combine two pups, without combining their electronics. Unless . . .

. . . you add active electronics, ie., an onboard mixer. But you probably don't want to go there. ;)

Oh, well. I expected as much. Again, thank you for the help, though. You too, octavedoctor. Thanks to you guys and your illustrations, I think I understand this stuff a little better.

I think Artie's first suggestion, to just use a single tone control for all positions, is the best one. I intend to install a GraphTech Ghost piezo saddle system, and I can use the second tone knob as a control to mix the piezo and magnetic pickups together.
