Re: With a street price of $8152.00

Is that a customer's bespoke order or something that the CS decided to put out on a whim?

Re: With a street price of $8152.00

I dunno the full deal...

I do know it's Custom Shop, Master Built...which explains the $10200.00 MSRP

I saw it in the new GP and looked it up on line...they've made a few so far but I can't imagine there is a big market for it not to mention most guys I know can't afford it anyway!

Re: With a street price of $8152.00

Even for those who could afford it, why would anyone choose that particular Fender guitar/bass permutation? Some session cat doubling rhythm guitar and tic tac bass in a Surf Music Revival act, maybe?

EDIT: I am beginning to feel the words Nokie and Edwards coalescing out of the ether. :D

Re: With a street price of $8152.00

I wouldn't want a double necked guitar even if it were thrown after me. Hate those ugly things.

Re: With a street price of $8152.00

Fender must be benchmarking Gibson for pricing strategies.

Re: With a street price of $8152.00

If it was half Bass VI and half SG it would be my dream guitar

As it stands now, it is fantastically amazing.

Re: With a street price of $8152.00

Also known as the biggest waste of money since Gibson Limited Edition Moderne

Re: With a street price of $8152.00

Joe Perry has a vintage Fender VI he used to use on Back In The Saddle but he uses a Music Man now. I saw him use an old Gibber SG 6 string bass back in the '70s on that song too. That one RIPPED!!!

That Double is Cool but I could not afford one or want one that bad.
