For ease of operation on the fly, give me the one volume with two tone controls. I'm a strat guy at heart.

Just a vol pot works for me, but I'm fine w/ 1 vol 1 tone too.

I like 2 vol, 1 tone. I don't use the tone control much, but the 2 vol lets me have one pickup quiet and another loud.

My setup right now is two volume and a tone controlling the the bridge only. Works for me.
