I dig the Tom Petty signature model - just not quite enough to spend the money to own one. IMO, a seven string McGuinn Ric (similarly to his signature Martin) would be very interesting.

that's a stunner! I like how on the back, you can see the side body pieces are completely different grains, one side has a knot that looks like a star, I guess the guitar in my sig for trade wishes it was that guitar

One of the rare instances where I think the guard actually makes the color of the flame top better.

I actually agree with you on that. I've seen blue burst guitars, and didn't like them, but I think part of the reason I like this Rick is the pickguard offsetting some of the color.
