I don't know why, but there is something incredibly cool about the Bomber Girl PT by Schecter. I actually want to try one out. Not very often does a guitar catch my eye, especially Schecters, but I'm really digging it :saeek:

Anyone else seen these?

Re: Wow, Schecter GAS

i've been looking at the bottom one since it came out and almost bought it 3 times. i may sell one of my other guitars and pick it up since i want a mahogany tele anyway and it just looks cool with the shark tooth headstock.

Re: Wow, Schecter GAS

I believe they could have hired a better artist to do the work on those. The bomber girls should be more detailed. But anyway, I played one of them and they are super solid. They seem to be higher quality than the regular Diamond Series, they sound great too.

Schecter makes some great guitars. Those are awsome looking. I may have to snag one up. hmm...............thanks for the uneeded extra gas. :D

Anytime :D. I have always thought about having a bare bones Tele for rock and roll.

The only thing I couldn't stand on the Schecters I played in the past were the necks. They were pretty small IIRC. Xeromus, how would you describe the necks? I've gotten spoiled my Les Pauls and my Grosh with their chunky Cs.

Whoa, did I hear that right? Hollow-body with a Bigsby? :32:

I think it's about time I take a look at Schecter's new stuff ;)

I have a Schecter Vintage Series strat (korean made) which has a nice chunky neck to it. I think that bomber one I played was similar.

Re: Wow, Schecter GAS

Now THAT I'd like to see!!! :32:

I actually like those Chris....I dig the inlays!!!

Re: Wow, Schecter GAS

Schecters are cool but I hate how all of their designs remind me of Fenders or Gibsons, or a combination of the two...

Re: Wow, Schecter GAS

Those look great! I do agree on the art lacking a little bit. But, sweet nonetheless!

Re: Wow, Schecter GAS

Since those are cheap, they'll go real cheap used. If you really want a great Schecter, keep your eye on the Los Angeles built models, and snag a used one for half what they went for new in the 90's. IMO, the US Schecter teles are like faster playing Fender Teles.

The real US schecters are the bomb.

My guitar teacher has an S/S/S strat, and it owns any american standard fender I've ever played.

There was a second hand one in a music shop near me a bit ago; an ash strat - going for £499 with a case... I so wanted it :yell: :yell:

I'm definitely going to have to try one. If this has a chunky neck like Xeromus is saying, I think I'll have found myself a keeper. With Schecter, their guitars always struck me as having quality, but I didn't dig the way they "felt".

Here's hoping GJ that they'll be reselling on eBay cheap :)

I still keep my eyes peeled for those. Every once in a while I come across a good one. Never when I had the cash for one though.
