Re: Wow! This Guy Makes Some Wicked Amps

Wood in a guitar effects tone. Wood in a head doesn't effect tone. At least if it was made from plastic it could use recycled materials which would reduce the burden on our landfills and aquifers.Again, you totally missed the point. If you feel so strongly about it then replace all of your wood guitars with plastic ones.
We shouldn't encourage the depletion of hardwoods by purchasing these amps. We can't reduce our carbon footprint if we go around cutting down forrests full of redwoods to make something as frivolous as toothpicks!

on a side note.... i strongly encourage self-reliance, recycling, using a compost, growing your own produce, and living a generally healthy lifestyle; and i hate the fact that so much recyclable crap gets tossed into landfills.
BUT they have found a way to utilize the methane gas produced by existing landfills and convert it to energy, which i thought was pretty cool.
Dude. You're collateral damage in this one.
why? i can call the guy out for tree-hugging without totally dismissing logical measures.
*jumps on wagon*
Don't resist. Become a squirrel hugger today!
I wonder if all that wood is a fire hazard? It would be a shame if it got eaten by termites.

You're missing the big picture. If we cut down all the trees to make amplifiers, the squirrels will have nowhere to live.
