WTB: Basic Delay

I'm looking for a good quality delay with true bypass. I've heard behringer pedals but they wreck my signal..

What do you guys have? this is a get chance to get rid of that delay pedal gathering dust...

Re: WTB: Basic Delay

Dude, get your head out of the troo bypazz punchbowl and put function and reliability at the top of your list. Then go spend $60 on a used DD-3. And no, mine's not for sale.

Re: WTB: Basic Delay

I've got a Duncan Deja Vu, I'm looking to get something that takes up less real estate, I've been very pleased with it....

Re: WTB: Basic Delay

Everyone these days should own:

DD-3
Carbon Copy

But, for ~70 bones Mooer makes good stuff. Seen it used all over.

they make a little boss DM copy... I think that's the ticket. I'm not looking for Where The Streets Have No Name.

'Streets' is either a Roland SDE3000 or a TC 2290, probably the former. It just so happens that the SDE3000 uses the same chip as the Boss DD-2 and early DD-3s. I have a version 1 MIJ DD-3 (identical to DD-2 circuit), and the 'Streets' tone is spot-on.

MIT DD-3s can be had for about $50, whereas an early MIJ DD-3 can be had for $60-70; I paid $65 for mine a couple months ago.

I owned a nova delay. It nailed the U2 tone.

I'm just looking for a basic boss DM kind of thing.

I've just been playing with my CMATMODS Deeelay and it's basic but awesome. My other delays are El Cap and a Retrosonic analog delay but I still love the CMATMODS!
