Those you mention were produced from the very late '70s to the very early '80s. The stickers showed the winder's initial after the "JB" designation, so you could have a "JBD", "JBJ", "JBL", etc.
However, if you want the real-deal "early" JB, look for ones with no baseplate stamp and a sticker that simply says "The JB Model". Careful, though, because the newer "Antiquity" series are made to look the same.
