I'm looking for one of those solid body ukes...not the traditional ones with the pickup.

I was just in Lahaina back in November and Lahaina Music had a couple of the solid bodied electric ukes. You might have better luck with an electric mandolin search and just string it with 4 strings.

I own an acoustic/electric concert uke, and I'm not really sure why you'd want something with steel strings, it won't sound like a uke at all. Those nylon strings make all the difference.

hehe, never said steel strings, that would be weird....there's a few makes out there with nylon strings and special pickups...

Ahhhh I see so like a travel uke. Hmmmmm...I dunno, the ones I saw in Lahaina were steel strings. They were like mini-4-string guitars.

That's a nice one, I got a Eleuke locally...gonna pinstripe it..it's a crazy blue color.
