Just what it says, want to buy: Seymour APB and/or APJ 4string P/J actives, used.
Somehow only ever seen em on socal craigslist once (and ever since, I've *looked*... and looked, and looked), bought em for crazy cheap to experiment, loved em (think it was an APB-3). However, I had used em to spice up a beater POS bass which I bought as a pickup testing platform for its P/J versatility, and somehow there they remained instead... that thing sounded *awesome*, but playability feel neck fretwise, uhm yeah not quite up to the good old FujiGen stuff I had sitting on both sides of it. So after considering moving the pup to one of the good Japs for a while, I in the end sold it off cause it was just sitting there, and cuz without it the beater wasn't sellable at all... stupid move, it so turns out.
Obviously, IMMEDIATELY got drafted to play bass in a metal band.... Ooops.
Anyway, since I need a bunch of dedicated bass stuff right now and most of what I got is guitar stuff, I can't offer much, and I can't swing them new-priced. Cuz that's a decent amp and a 4x10 if lucky right there, and 67% of the way there even at guitar center used pricing... so, yeah.
Seems like there isn't much of a market for these undeservedly not-too-popular kicka$s lil direct replacement actives, despite all the kick and crazy convenience thereof. If you got some to spare, please let me know!!
