WTB: Van Nuys-era Schecter P-Bass body, please!

No Dough/Nuts

That's what I want!

I've already got all the other Schecter parts from that era - neck, loaded brass 'guard, bridge, even the strap buttons.
I was trying to assemble a fretless bass on the cheap, but I've ended up with so many Van Nuys Schecter parts that I now have no choice but to find the appropriate body!

Anyone have one to sell?

⌚ Five-Month-Bump!⌛

(Kubicki, USA-made Mighty Mite, DiMarzio, Boogie Bodies, etc. also considered, as long as they're from the same period (late-seventies/early-eighties). )Thanks!

Arent all those Schecter parts compatible with a Fender P-Bass body?
If so, maybe set your sights on a Old Early 70's/late 60's P-Bass body. They come up fairly often the time on Ebay.
That quast for the Schecter body is admarable, and I bet you are scouring the different froums ( youve tried "Talkbass'?) but it's a big long shot. Good luck!

Re: WTB: Van Nuys-era Schecter P-Bass body, please!

Thanks!
They are totally Fender-compatible, and I am scouring a bunch of forums, as you guessed.

I'm hoping to go 100% old Schecter, only because I'm so close at this point.
But the search may wear me down!

Funnily enough, I just registered at TalkBass a minute ago.
I had been looking there, and watched a beautiful koa body/rosewood neck Van Nuys Schecter P/J languish there, until someone finally purchased it... cheap!

I'm in no hurry at all, as long as people can stand all the thread bumping.

I appreciate your suggestions.
Thanks again.
