There is NO DIFFERENCE between the units from either company. The new ones sound JUST LIKE the old ones. How do I know? Because I have guitars with Lawrence units from the 70's and stuff I bought last month. They are all amazingly consistent high fidelity, high power pickups that work well for any kind of guitar music. And at $55 each online, they are the best bargain in pickups on the planet. Single coil, double coil - makes no diff. Lawrence stuff rules.

Yours are spoken for? Well if the vintage ones are the same as the new ones, then why don't you sell my client one of your vintage ones and he'll buy you a new one in return?
