WTF is up with used guitar prices????

Just remember that Reverb and PayPal will report to the IRS your sales. So start looking for your original receipt to show you didn’t make a lot of money :)

Every once in a while , someone will have common sense and is realistic to sell at a reasonable price.
In fact, I just bought an 2020 Black Epiphone Les Paul Custom for $250.00 w/ hard shell case, but it has no electronics, bridge, tailpiece or tuners .... just what I was looking for .

It's getting the John Sykes make over, except it going to have a Wilkinson Roller Bridge, Schaller Tailpiece with fine tuners, Locking Tuners and a Bill Lawrence XL-500 in the neck with a SD Triple Shot Pickup Ring and a Dimarzio Evolution in the bridge .

I find the only place I still find great deals is the pawnshops. Typically the Gibsons and Fenders are taking top dollar, but I will see rare birds for great prices. Typically, the same with amps. The pawnshop near me has a Kustom Lead III in showroom condition for $200, I know the guy wants to move it and would easily take $150.

I was just remembering a time when Mexico Fenders cost $400, & now they're $850 brand new. And it's hard to find them used under $500.

I personally have never dealt with crazy used guitar prices.

I don’t buy off Reverb,E-Bay, guitar forum classifieds,or any online guitar shops.

Almost all my used guitar scores come from area pawnshops.

After that it’s CL, FB Marketplace, and finally though local musician networking.

I’ve been VERY successful buying this way for a very long time.

Problem here is every Pawn Shop I have ever worked in based their used prices and what they gave to buy or pawn an item off of Reverb or Ebay. So when those prices go up-----.
