im just curious. what if i bought a DIY marshall guv'nor clone from any of these sites. assuming i also did a perfect job buliding it.

is it totally ok to expect the same guv'nor in the market with my DIY Guv'nor? or should i always expect a huge difference, if not only a slight difference? (tone wise and how the pedal operates)

well....I guess it depends on the quality and precision of the parts you use compared to the other piece you are talking about


it depends. It should be very close to the same sound though.

so i guess theres always a risk of having clone even if your an ace electrician. but who knows, your DIY pedal might be better than the original. your right, it depends
