any help appreciated. also i had a tip on the guitar forum on modding my current wah to have a deeper voice. anybody know how i would go about doing that and what i would do? thanks

I was just going to start this thread but saw this very old one so I am bumping it. Did you ever get the Wylde wah?

I had one briefly and really miss it. I plan to pick up a Cantrell wah, Wylde wah, Budda wah, and MC404 wah because I like having choices. Right now, my main wah is the Crybaby 95Q because it is switchless! :)

The Wylde wah is the deepest, richest, thickest, most 3-D and lush sounding wah I have ever played, period. :)

Re: wylde wah

I just picked up the MC404 wah and I love it so far mostly because I have the choice to switch between the red and yellow fasel which gives two different voices. The red is what you would be looking for as it gives a throaty, thick, full sounding tone close to the Wylde and Cantrell wah. The yellow fasel gives that classic cry baby vibe with a brighter sound for funk or if you just like a brighter sound. Plus it's adjustable but the stock settings worked great for me. I got mine used for $125.

The other option I would say is get a standard Crybaby or vox and send it to this guy called the Wah Doctor who will mod it for to give you exactly what you want.
