That´s why he didn´t respond to an e-mail sent to him requesting for some magnets. It was something strange, since John was a very nice guy with me, he sent three magnets to Uruguay, South America. The shipping was here in only one week. It was really fast!!

I second that. I'm gonna buy myself one or two of each type of magnets, and maybe a set of P-rails while I'm at it.

I bought lots of stuff from John and he was always great to work with. Great products at good prices and excellent service. I will certainly miss doing business with him.
He was my go-to guy for mags, pots, caps and wire, and a couple pickups as well as misc. other parts.
He'll be missed, at least by me.
He says he's moving on to bigger and better things. I'm curious what he's up to. Anyone hear anything?

Hey all thanks for all the kind words. Am writing this from my phone so it will be short. All is well with me, just time to get serious about this retirement thing. Thanks to all my forum brothers for your support the last 9 years. Will post more when I get back from a short vacation regarding liquidation. Until then rest assured I am relaxing poolside in Las Vegas!!

That was my first question, too ...BUMMER! I've only spoken to John on the phone, but he seems like a really cool guy. I was all set to order some A8s from him next week, but they've been backordered...not expecting that to change for the blow-out sale...
I saw nothing pickup-specific on the Allstar site...I REALLY hope there's another comparable supplier there, I was just about to finally try mag swaps!! :banghead:
