I think this is my favorite guitar color. (Sorry for mediocre camera skills.) My wife was sneaky on how she gave this to me. She had our daughter take it down to her house so that I didn't actually get it under the tree. What a sweet surprise. (Did I mention that I love my wife?) :)

The pups are "ok", but not great. Epiphone calls them Alnico Classics. Alnico what, I wonder? A2? A5? A-wot? Anyone know?

They'll probably get replaced with either PG's or Seth's. I have both on the shelf.

Probably A5. Gives back the bite an underwhelming wind removes.

But Pelham is a great colour......like Goldtop it oozes class.

Pelham Blue is friction' classy schiz. All uptown and stuff….

American pickups an' one of yo' smartass wiring jobs.

Even with single con + braid cable Seths, something clever could be done in the capacitor department. ;)

Alnico Classics are A5. I don't love them in LPs, but there's a set in my Epi Explorer and they're really good. I imagine quality control makes them fairly random in "goodness".

Edit: also, love that color on a Les Paul!

And I believe I don't need to mention how much I dig that color in general but in LPs in particular.

Congrats! Love the color combo! I currently am digging the Phat Cat neck + Pearly Gates bridge combo, perhaps a mix of those? :D
