This is a bit different from all the other discussions I've read here. I couldn't find any previous discussions regarding this:
For all of you who have performed magnet swapping using genuine Duncan magnets and miscellaneous aftermarket magnets (Allparts, Allstar, Ampge, etc.), have you noticed any differences between the magnets of same type among the different sources?
For instance, does an A5 magnet from Allparts sound the same as an A5 magnet from a Duncan pickup?
I guess the main question is: Do magnets from Allparts, Allstar, Ampge, HighOrder, etc. have the same magnetic properties of same-grade, non-aged Duncan magnets?
