Hey all
Im having a problem with a configuration...

I have one of those YM50 5 Way switches. I think its a piece of crap, but this is what I have to work with. The pickup configuration is 2 buckers, and its supposed to be 12345 "Neck, Split, Both, Split, Bridge". Ive tried every option, and nothing is working, ive tried a ton of schematics, and none of them are right.

Any suggestions?

Maybe, if you post some link to specs of such a switch, someone can help you.
NO idea what an YM50 is.

The configuration you want won't work with a YM-50 unfortunately. You might want to get a megaswitch or similar.

When you say, "neck, split, both, split, bridge", which pickups do you want split in those positions?

Do you mean, "neck, neck split, both, bridge split, bridge"?

For a HSS configuration, one pole of the YM-50 or CRL switch selects the pickups whilst the second pole handles the automatic coil splitting of the humbucker.

The Neck and Bridge pickups both on in position 3 circuit requires - at the very least - an Oak Grigsby twelve contact switch and a few jumper connections.

The OP's requested circuit is possible with a Schaller Megaswitch E or any Superswitch with at least three poles. The full-on, 24-contact switch types have the advantage of using the fourth pole to govern the tone control connections.
