Funny I played one of mine today. I have been GASing for a DSL 15 head. I found one at the local for $329 used. Clean it sounded great, but it was incredibly noisy when I added gain. Don't get me wrong when I was playing it was slaying. When I stopped, there was a loud (for me) hum. I am OCD when it comes to line noise to a fault.

I bought my Les Paul which is silent as a church mouse. They gave me a quality cord. In my head, the next thing to check was if it was connected with a decent speaker cable but at that point, I was checking out. I just unplugged and went on my way. I might buy new I liked the amp, I need to find out it that was that amp or the model with the hum.

Edit: As I review this list, I do not see a Randall RD1H anywhere on here -- an amp that I bought ten days later. Therefore I would rate my ability to predict my own actions as "Fair" to "Poor".

Maybe an Egnater Tweaker 88, for brand loyalty reasons only.

Other than that, a tiny practice amp like a Yamaha THR10, and stuff that goes straight to PA like an AxeFx, Eleven Rack, Fly Rig, etc.
