Re: Your amp wish list?

If I was to get another amp it is going to be a 100 watter just because I don't currently have one.

Among those would be:

A Jubilee 2555X reissue. The rationale here would be a Jubilee I could tinker with without hacking up a vintage amp or the primary gig amp. Such as playing around with different colored LEDs and it is an amp that takes a wide variety of output tubes and is easy to bias.

A Vintage Modern 2466 100 watt. I always liked these amps and never pulled the trigger on one. I don't hardly use pedals so I probably wouldn't find much use for one, and I already have a JTM45. On the other hand, I ride the guitar volume up and down and these amps respond very well to that.

A Soldano Solo Avenger 100. This is just the SLO's dirty channel. No frills. What else would you want a SLO for, though? I almost pulled the trigger on a used one for a good price, and regret not doing it. Plus it's not another Marshall.

Re: Your amp wish list?

Hylight-Era Hiwatt SA112 Combo w/ Fane, ever since I tried one back in Boston a year ago I've been dying to get one. The cleans are something else.

Re: Your amp wish list?

Update:

Marshall 2555 Silver Jubilee

(was actually going to get that win I bought the Mesa)

Re: Your amp wish list?

I've got my eye on the upcoming Victory RK50 Kotzen signature amp.

Re: Your amp wish list?

Probably not getting another amp, but I do think about getting one (or all) of these from time to time:
Allen Brown Sugar head
Roland Blues Cube Hot
Supro 1622RT Tremo Verb
Fender 59 Bassman ltd

Re: Your amp wish list?

For anyone who thinks they want an evh 5153 or an engl fireball, you probably don't. I've played both and they suck imho

Tried a 5153 some four or five years ago. Loved it. Bought one. Still love it. Still blows me away.

Would love to try a Victory Kraken just for the hell of it.
Soldano SLO 100
Any Mesa I can get my hands on
Peavey Masterpiece 50
And 5153 Stealth

Yes, I play metal. What gave it away?

Re: Your amp wish list?

Nothing: I roll my own. Wouldn't mind a few more guitars to add to the pole of the ones I don't even play enough though.

Re: Your amp wish list?

a buddy just got two longhorn amps, damn they are nice.

Re: Your amp wish list?

We should have people follow up with their next amp purchase, to see if it was on their list. Mine wasn't.

I have caved in! :haha:Ordered a new "open box" Roland Blues Cube Hot for $100 under the going street/internet price (w/ full Roland warranty and free shipping). Thought I'd not likely get a better deal on a new one, so.....
It should arrive Tuesday +/-. GAS is an incurable disease! :guilty:

Re: Your amp wish list?

I would like a powered stereo 2x10 cabinet which I could slot my thr10 in to. 50 watts would be fine.

Re: Your amp wish list?

Realised there are mor now. Wanna try a Splawn, Revv Gen and Panama too. Don't think any retailers around here carry them though. Also don't think I could afford one :disappoin

Your amp wish list?

It’s likely going to be a while until my next amp purchase, since I recently picked up my Hot Rod 25.

But my wish list includes:
SLO 100
Decatone
Lucky 13
Louis Electric Bluesbreaker
Louis Electric Columbia reverb
Louis Electric Deltone reverb
Louis Electric Gattone

I love my two Soldanos, but I have the two babies of the family (which are no slouches on volume), but now have a taste for the higher output models.
