Here it is... My 1st real guitar . It's a 1984 SQ squire strat. It's not playable
right now cuz' over the last 20 years I played it so hard I melted the frets.
A few more fret jobs on P.O.S. necks and I think I'll be ready to get # 1
Flying again.:D

Cool! I'm digging it too. It's one of the best clean amps I've ever owned. Very effects friendly too. :)

that's rosie... named after a girl I know who drives a porsche and I've been in love with forever. Everytime I see her... I sort of ache, ya know? Anyway. It's a 72' Ibanez with a Dimarzion Super Dist in it.

My sweet babies. It was a match made in heaven when I first picked up an Ibanez :)

Even though I Photoshopped all these, I bet they would make me cream my pants if Ibanez made them.

She's beaten, she's bruised, but man, she SINGS! I changed the routing to fit standard single coils, modded my single coils to fit the screws for it to fit properly. I've done my own wiring on her (including blend control, master tone control etc.), put on the arm sock and trem and I'm probably the only person in the world that digs it, and I love that ;)

She has a mahogany body with very straight, beautiful grain. The maple neck has such a nice smooth finish to it and the action is nice and fast and low. I'm not afraid to get rough with her and I'm realizing now that strats are where it's at for me (nothing else touches me quite like a good one). She doesn't need any fancy finishes. No bursts, no solid coverings, just beautiful inner grain beauty :D

She is my favorite, by far. Other guitars I'm sure will come and go, but with the work I've done on this guitar, it has meaning. Besides, it's an early G&L Skyhawk, it's an early Leo Fender redesigned strat with a top mounted input jack (WAY better than the "football" ones on regular strats). It oozes mojo and not even the Grosh can touch it there
