Like:
2 and 3 color sunburst, black, Alpine white, Pewter, Reverse Metallic blackburst and blueburst, Inca Silver, Shoreline Gold, trans white Ash, most dark blues.
aluminum guards, mint, black, tortoise, nicotine aged white, white, parchment, copper moto, black moto, light blue moto.
Dislike:
Pink Paisley, Blue Flower, Yellow, mustard blonde, baby blue, seafoam green, splattercasters, candy tangerine, candy red or blue, gold sparkle, champagne sparkle, purple, fire engine red.
White pearloid.....too cute, too 90's. green, blue, purple, red moto guards = too loud!
For necks, rosewood or maple with plastic or bone nut. No metal nutz!!!!
Vintage or Am Std tuners......no Sperzels, if I can help it. They dampen the headstock's resonance IMO.
Vintage or Am Std bridge.
9.5 or larger radius with med jumbos preferably. 22 frets preferred

My fav is "agave blue" with a black moto pickguard, and a maple neck.

I like a few different combos. On almost all my Strats I have the old style, thick one-ply white pickguards.
I like, color wise:
Sonic Blue w/maple fretboard
Vintage White w/rosewood fretboard
Mary Kay w/maple fretboard
Candy Apple Red with maple fretboard
Natural with maple fretboard
My favorite type of bridge is the vintage 6 screw unit. I set it up with 5 springs with the bridge set against the body (non-floating)
I also prefer the large 'CBS' headstock on the strats as well. Also, I like the vintage tuners because I like the 'slots' for the string rather than eyelets.
I prefer the nitro finish, on the neck especially for feel as much as looks. I'm not a huge fan of 'satin' neck finishes.
Right now, I'm converting all my 'super Strats' back to the 3 single coil setup. I have other guitars that are more suitable for hard rock. Strat's just have their own thing going on, and sound great on Floyd, Purple and so on with the original config.

Nothing more beatiful than a candy apple red strat with maple neck and plain white pickguard..............one other combination i like is an all black strat(including black pickguard) but with white pickups/controls.

I never said I hated candy tangerine. I'd like it best with a rosewood neck and black pickguard, but I'd get sick of a halloween guitar. I like your yellow guitar, but wouldn't buy one. Gimme that same guitar in silver with gray pickups, and I'd be all over it.

eye candy cause i noticed a few silver and graphitti yellow mentions in there. I wish my silver strat had a rosewood board, thats my personal favorite combo on a strat. but whatever its a great instrument so i'm happy with the maple

I think I like ALL Strats. (I have 3). Mine are Black with maple, Metal Flake Green with maple, and vintage white with Rosewood on birdseye. One combination that I have always liked is White body with a Tortise Pickguard, Rosewood FB and gold hardware. Like a early 60's Mary K. Very unusual, but very cool!

I like my Wine Red Strat with Gold mirrored pickguard and white pickups. Not very classic looking but I like it!

I love those orange finishes. I also love red w/ white or tortoise pg, tobacco sunburst w/ tortoise pg, and white w/ tortoise pgs. I like maple necks, but I find myself falling towards rosewood fretboards.

I have 2 right now...my Jimmy vah=ughan is black with a maple neck and a tortoise guard with cream (Antiquity) pickups and controls...looks very classy. My other is a MIJ 67 reissue that is 3 color burst with a maple neck...Im thinking about either a black or tortoise guard and again cream pickups and controls.
I love tortoise guards and maple necks, since we're talking about looks here I love a reverse Fender headstock...Strat, Tele, CBS Strat all of them...they looks kick ass when there upside down!
IM also a big fan of the 50's and 60's Custom colors...Daphne blue, seafoam green, sky blue, LP Blue, shell pink, etc...the only colors I really don't like are the reds...I just hate the color red
