Ask Gibson, and that's a normal zebra (going back to the late 1950's originals). Order from SD, and that's reverse.

Those are REVERSE Zebra... and that's exactly what I mean. Those rule in that particular guitar!

To me that's straight-up zebra. I don't claim to be an expert on which is which, but black screw coil is zebra to me, cream is reverse.

Well, that's the thing: black screw coil is Zebra for Gibson but Reverse Zebra for Seymour Duncan. I've figured, as we're in th SD Forum I keep SD's standards.

For the record, I also prefer to call Zebra the black screw coil p'up.
