Zoom G9.2tt - $305 shipped without case/$325 shipped with aluminum pedal case

Of all of the modelers that I've tried, the G9 is by far the best sounding and most versatile. It has two tubes in it that add tube warmth and crunch that no other modeller has been able to do. It also has two expression pedals, one of which works in both vertical and horizontal axises. There is too much juicy goodness to explain in this post, so I'll link the specifics. Just understand that this is the most tube-like and natural sounding modeler out there. It also has a better variety of amps and effects than any other modeler I've owned as well.

The modeler is in near perfect condition. Right now there is some velcro on the bottom, but it should come off without causing problems. The LCD screen even still has the plastic on it. I also have the original box, manuals, paperwork, and Cubase recording software.

For an extra $25 I'll include a nice pedal case that I purchased from Rondo's for use with the G9, with which the case is a perfect match. These are high quality pedal cases made of light aluminum that can be used for just about any purpose. The lid part has the loop side of velrco, so if you're pedals have pieces of velcro with the hook side on them, they'll stick right to it. The lid is also thin, so it doubles as a pedal board.

Tech 21 Power Engine 60 - $180 shipped

This is basically a powered speaker cabinet that produces a full-range sound. It is a perfect partner for modelers for it's ability to produce a neutral, clean, clear tone by which to amplify the modeler. I've used it with several modelers to monitor myself live with great success. It has a fair amount of dings and small tears in the tolex, but functions perfectly. The chassis also seems to be a little loose and sags in the bag a bit, but this affects nothing other than appearance. It could probably be fixed by tightening some screws, but I just don't care enough. This is the older model with the better, more neutral sounding Tech 21 speaker. The pictures make the PE60 look WAY worse than it really looks in person; flash has the tendancy to do that.

He says it's the Tech 21.

The PE-60's a great piece of kit. No home should be without one. :approve:

Yeah, it's the Tech 21. Many people seem to prefer them as they're supposedly more suitable for modeling stuff...something about them being flatter than the Celestion. I don't know if that's true, though.

Re: Zoom G9.2tt, Tech 21 Power Engine 60, pedal case

yeah, i really don't know. They are supper sweet speakers, great for lots of different uses. I actually ordered a new one about a month and a half ago, but it's taking forever to show up. The new ones are supposedly shipping with a celestion 70/80. Don't know the differance between the two.

Tech 21 has been sold.

The G9 is still available. Don't miss out on the best modeler out there. I also dropped the price.
