    I'm jealous. You've twice as many 88's.

Loudest single amp I've played through is my Marshall 1959RR (Randy Rhoads sig) At full tilt it runs in excess of 200 watts, I was driving a pair of 4x12s.

I used to run Marshall 2204 and 2203 half-stacks in stereo. Loud loud loud!

On it's own, the Dave Freidman Naked and the Suhr OD100SE+ is frightening. But it's not just the volume that gets you... it's the sheer low end that envelops you and makes your teeth vibrate.

yeah.. I was reading that.. I can't imagine his hearing is any good these days if he used them all those years.. now bands are smart to use smaller amps and ear monitors even for large venues

I saw Ritchie with Rainbow years ago.. Motorhead opened for them.. both acts had walls of Marshalls.. my ears rang for days afterward because I was right in front of the stage..

            Or this

This has got to be the winner. I had a 50 watt half stack and it was bloody loud.

I would turn the whole thing up to 14, DEAD CLEAN, and play a Strat on the neck + middle in my big funk band.

I could open a bottled beer with a 9th chord.
Actually, I like this one too!

I had a mesa boogie tri axis with a 90/90 power amp rack system.

In the early 70's I had a Fender 400 PS head (435 RMS tube watts) running through three cabs, each with two JBL D130F 15" speakers.

"LOUD" was what it did on "3". Broken windows is what it did at half volume. Spilled guts is what it did wide open.
