  • have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

its a little scary at first to see how much you've spent on tiny boxes, but ill start:

all my pedals new cost : $1135

but what i payed for them (some i got used) - $950

how about you guys? wondering how it compares
i saw this band, and thought they were really great, until i saw what the guy was playing through........

I've got so many pedals I don't wanna know.
If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane.

Replacement cost $2,018 including power supply and tuner
I am so close to retirement that I could play in a band full time. All I have to do is figure out what to use instead of money, improve my playing, learn some songs, and find some other musicians more talented than me who will do exactly as they're told. .

              VOX 847 - $90
              BOSS CS-3 - $90
              Digitech Bad Monkey - $50
              Monte Allums BOSS DS-1 - $80
              Line 6 Echo Park - $100
              Digitech JamMan - $250

              Total: $660
(If I had to replace everything tomorrow, new)

Wow, I always figured it was chump change.

$660 is greater than the (individual) cost of 5 of my 7 guitars and 3 of my 3 amps!

I always thought of it as an afterthought, but it really is a part of my rig.

Pedals tend to add up quickly, especially if you have good ones.

I only have one guitar worth more than the total sum of my board. My amp head is worth about the same.

I don't remember the number, but my insurance company does. I'll need to update it in a couple weeks.

Yeah, and then sold it off to buy a cool amp. Rinse, repeat.
                    It's a beautiful sickness.

This is a bad thing to start thinking about...
