    Korg pitchblack tuner
Old boss bass eq ('90s) that i mainly use for boost when running one of my passive basses into my

Source Audio Spectrum filter (i have had all the top filters-mxr-ebs-bassballs-mutron-and on and on and the Spectrum takes the crown...and i cant belive im saying this about a digital ef pedal)
Beat Buddy (this actually isnt on my board but its close by)

I have a Darkglass Element but it isnt a "board" pedal

And thats it. I have sold all my other pedals and will be shipping the boss bass eq off once I get a Source Audio eq2.

I get distortion from my dirt channel on my Orange amp on the rare occasion i want dirt. Sounds as good as any pedal.
May pick up a morley fuzz wah if i can get a decent price on it. Cant think of any other pedal that I want.

Had an Electro Harmonix "Bass Muff"-

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Used it for all my bass guitar work, aswell for electric guitar. Had an awesome "clean blend" knob, aswell as "dry out" and "wet out" jacks...

Also had a Boss "Bass EQ" at one point, sold it...

I haven't tried a compressor with a blend control yet. I'll have to try that some time. Which of those compressors do you like?

Not being a bass player, I find that a compressor with a blend knob tends to help me keep the tone consistent.

We've played a bunch of gigs with nothing more than that DI and a tuner. Those things are really solid and sound great.

That's about it for my bass pedals. There is a chorus downstream in the board effects loop. It's a Rockman Stereo Chorus/Delay.

    I don't play bass anymore-

After i lost my 5 bass guitars, 2 amps, 3 cabs- and effect pedals (EH bass muff, Behringer Tube Overdrive, Boss bass EQ,)

    In a fire. :/

But, maybe some day- after my 5 years of paying off debt-

I can save up to buy a simple bass, and an amp.

Until then, I'm stuck with an electric guitar rig .

(The EH Bass muff, was/is a great pedal!! With a blend control and everything. The apartment owner stole it, while "cleaning" my apartment, while I was away... Tried making a case, with a free lawyer,,, but I'm losing the case, since I cant "Prove" that I ever owned the pedal..)

Have your bass player run the Bassballs with the distortion switch on in front of a fuzz pedal set moderately. It gets really compressed and sounds like a really wicked synth.

I bought one bass effect : MXR Bass Distortion (inspired by the RAT circuit but it has dry knob and a wet knob).
MXR has a nice selection for bassplayer.
