MasterKthulu's Cream White H/H strat. Opposite of my sunburst, It's got Pearly Gates neck and ALnico II bridge, If I remember right. **** sexy guitar.

Thank you, I didn't expect a mention in a tread like this. It's nice to know at least one person (Other than myself) thinks my Strat is sexy!

Re: The Coolest Guitars of the SDUGF

              we really have get on the same page here. we are posting a lot of NICE guitars and PRETTY guitars - but cool factor is something more;

It has to be unique, have it's own sense of style. Something you don't see everyday. Something that 'pops' and has that WOW factor. For example....Joneser's 335, a very nice and vibey 335. But coolest? I don't think so. Don't get me wrong - I'd give my left nut for that. But it isn't that cool.

That V Jr. is COOL. Why? It doesn't really exist. Hot P-90's are awesome. The two together - fuggedaboudit!!!!! Style incarnate. The strat with the graffiti is cool - it is unique.

a flamed Hamer? A tele with a minibucker? A sweet Jackson? All EXTREMELY nice guitars, but immensely lacking in COOL factor.

              COOL Guitars:
              Rick Nielson Rick Neilson Model
              Demartini Snakeskin
              Lynch Bone Guitar
              Bo Diddley's box
              EVH Frankenstrat
              Frehley's Smoke/light LP
              Nielson's Lp with Explorer headstock
Lot's of freaky stuff Gibbons owns

                  Good post.

Using those criteria the only cool guitar I have are probably my ES330, cause it's got a BIGSBY, and my Royal Blue PRS with white pups....well maybe it's just more purdy.

That said Christian and the Moderne STILL get my vote for COOLEST guitar on the forum, hands DOWN!

The guitars XSSIVE built that I now own. Tangerine #003 was always the coolest no matter who the owner was.

I love that blue Tele, Wahwah's Strat, and wasn't there a blue ES175?
                    Oh no.....

I dig that p-90 V. It's almost as great as mine... Jkjk. All in good humour.

Not to blow my own horn, but I'd have to say Dave and I's Marlboro Martin acoustic's. They're great, and still have that neat factor to them.

Oh yeah, and my homemade cigar box lap steel.

2001 Reverend Avenger in Bugeye finish... one badass michigan made insturment... def. falls into the "cool" category. fulcrum tremolo, locking sperzels... made out of phenolic resin (almost like a plastic, but it contains "wood") light as a feather, sustains for days ! It now resides at a Indianapolis Guitar Center I believe.

Used to be mine... I traded it I do love the LP Studio I got in return for it though !
