I've tried searching and nothing recent is coming up, was there or was there not a thread regarding neck-dive and straps (or other changes) that can help alleviate such issues?

Possibly this thread?
Most of my younger guitar students get summer jobs to buy gear... Doesn't seem to be nearly as big a deal for keyboardist and bassists, but I'm getting the inevitable Les Paul verse SG questions and figured I'd write it down for posterity. First of all, a lot of my students need 25.5. Between country and sparkling reverb

Another might be this thread?
I'm looking to design a guitar that bridges the gap between classical and electric playing. Right now I'm looking to assemble a Warmoth Strat with a maple neck and my fiance is going to custom paint the body (she's damn good at that type of thing). I'm originally a Latin music player but I want to move more towards electric
Otherwise:
Using Google and searching this: site:forum.seymourduncan.com neck dive straps
I get these results (most seem to center around SGs, and Explorers)

Sometimes a 1 lb ankle weight on the strap helps, at least temporarily.Administrator of the SDUGF

Another option is to extend the top horn with some type of hook which extends to the 12th fret or so. On my Strat, which was neck heavy, I solved this by getting a steel block, which was 12oz heavier than the block that was in there.Administrator of the SDUGF
