Not on mine. The volume and tone pots are the amplifier kind, no grooved shaft. Just thought I'd mention it.
Well, the Hot Stack sounds pretty, let's say, hot and tight. It, to my ears, sounds like a "straight forward" pickup; it does not have much dynamics to it. Pretty good tones emanate from it but nothing along the lines of a traditional Tele of course.

    Cheers viejo,
    Terence
I wired them up exactly like the humbuckers were in there. All the wires matched up... just had to work the grounding shield down to where the ground spot was. They work great in there. I'm really pleased with the sound I get. It's a bit chimey'er than the humbuckers were, gives the guitar great clarity!
Más tarde ésta semana te mando un PM con un "update" de la situación. Gracias bro!
That's cool man. What is it you like better about being in a trio?

I'm into like everything ever and forever more so I won't continue to cloud your visitor message with music I'm into lol. Right now though I'm into like a modern-southern-metaly-hardcore type thing like Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. But also at the same time I've been going back to the stuff that got me playing guitar (Metallica, Zeppelin, Blink, Sabbath, tons more)
Sweet dude. I'll do the same if I ever get a band together again.

What kind of music stuff are you into right now? Like 90s rock?
:( figures lol. Yeah the catchiness thing is a huge problem, because if you're not catchy enough no one can relate, but if you're too catchy everyone hates you.
Wow that was actually kind of cool, compared to the bands that I used to see when I lived there. I'm just not a huge fan of latin rock. It just seems like a duller, less attitude version of some good ole rock and roll!

Their bassist is pretty hot. Maybe its just cuz she plays guitar/bass idk. I wish I could buy "pro" gear like that man. Id be set lol :biglaugh:
Dude, don't even get me started on that. The tech at my GC is probably the reason I do so much of my own work. I went to get a bass set up, and when I got it back I swear there was absolutely no difference whatsoever except that I was no about $60 poorer. F*** that! There are other people I could take it to it just costs too much money and I can do most things myself so its sort of pointless to me.
Nice. I wouldn't mind something like that nearby that wasn't owned by GC lol. All my local shops are owned by those damned hippies!
Wow, I can't believe it closed (although it does make a lot of sense). That's such a stupid name for a store, but hey Fender license means the real deal not that Biscayne stuff Villa was selling lol. I'm sure so much stuff has changed since I've been there. Its been like 3 years.
No dude trust me I do lol :D One of my best friends/former almost GF is one of them! So frustrating. At least you guys finally got a best buy! Have you been to Villa music? I think its near Condado. Its almost like a GC (down to the staff that don't know sh*t and everything). They don't have a whole crap load of name brand stuff, but it definitely got me buy when I lived there. BTW their prices are ridiculous so you know.
