I love this thing. Both of my guitars are sporting one now.
Everything I like about the small ceramic, without the thin, brittle setbacks. It's great. So glad I tried them.
Totally dig the large ceramic Custom over the C8.

I know maple is brighter than mahogany, but I really don't know just how the hollow affects the tone. I can assume a solidbody maple would sound much different from a hollow maple.
For comparison, a Les Paul mahogany-maple top.
Same pickups in both guitars and whatnot.
I've had the opportunity to play a handful of Daisy Rock guitars, but not Agile guitars.
Agile looks great on paper, but I can attest that the Daisies sound and feel great from personal experience.
With our collective experience, can we determine which would be superior.. an Agile AL 3000...
I know of the alnico 8 of course, but what would the difference be between that and a ceramic 8? Or a regular ceramic for that matter?

It's a little odd. Most noticable under gain (as always) and loudest if I rest my picking hand on the strings over the selected pickup. Bridge pickup is louder. Sounds like when you place your thumb on the tip of your instrument cable. Ideas?

My pickups have been modded and unsoldered and resoldered and magnet-swapped to high heaven.
They have wrong kind of tape on them too, so they don't look so hot. One is wrapped in black electrical tape (I got that one from a fellow forumite).
