How are we making recommendations when we know nothing about the amp and speakers this is being played through and what type of music is being played?

Same with my Origin 50. Lowering the wattage kills the thump and headroom, not the volume.

I feel like I'm the one member here who is not a fan of A4. In the neck, RCA3 in my 59 really did the trick, and I liked it much better than the A4, which I found anemic and completely lacking character.

I find EHX 12AX7s sound just as good as Tung-Sols and are much more reliable. The PSVanes are also surprisingly good value for the money. I tend to find Tung-Sols a bit overrated.

I’m glad y’all are finding yours usable. I was impressed by the versatility I got out of mine, but I’d much rather have my Carbon Copy and a seriously lower noise floor.
