  • I just realized you were probably talking about my volume difference thing...

I decided to put the UOA5 in the Custom anyway, not to solve the volume thing, just out of curiosity. After I swapped the mag I re-adjusted both of the pickups, due to the difference in outputs of both of the Customs...after I did that I didn't notice any difference in volume.

But after that the bridge pickup got this really nasty fizzy tone, and the answer to that is in my last post.

I don't know which you meant, but now you have the answer to whatever question you were asking.
I lowered all the poles, raised the pickup a bit, but it still sounded a tad fizzy.

I turned up the master on my amp, and everything sounded great. Turned out it just doesn't sound that good a low volumes...
But now I really like it, it's got a very Angus vibe...
Um yes, Still interested. I thought you'd permanently decided to use that in something.
I wasn't planning on Neo-ing it but it's an Idea. Stags are already pole magnets which is why I want to try it out.
The stagger won't matter I'd say.

Speaking of Neos; In the Dimarzios. The poles on that are essentially all same height EXcept for the E[6th] . It's about 1/4" > 1/8" lower on each coil.
I also figure I need to replace the bridge on the Framus. It's out of position and can't be height adjusted.

    Does that relate to this?
Framus Radius . No idea but it's a pretty flat one and standard humbucker type width. [ Not F spaced ]

Are you offering up the Stag Mag again?
the word on the street is lying. in general we dont like to do name changes with out good reason. some people get their panties in a twist over it and it sets bad precedent. if we do it for one then a bunch of others usually come out of the woodwork asking for it too.
    Thanks, dr!
I haven't visited this place at all for a couple of months what with all the studies.

Still working on my car. I discovered a cracked rubber joining unit on my steering last week when I was throwing the manifold back in. Put that on hold until I get the new rubber thing. I've got a new clutch plate in it now . It and gearbox all back in.

So you? Planning on moving? By yourself ? with another/s? Done anything with those neo's yet? What else is happening? any good drugs? Hahah!
Good; Had a day of fixing a lawn mower then mowing long damp grass, Then some vacing during which I get a " help " call from a computer customer. 5:30.If I didn't go he'd call tomorrow. A bit of Malware ;Ran an update on his Antimalwarebytes , started a scan, told him to call me when it finished scanning and left. Two hours later or more he calls . I tell how to finish it off; Done.
I scored a !.32 teragig HD/Sata2 for doing a computer OS reload. I've put that in the new rig which I'm still setting up. It just hated my Audidgy card and so I've had to use the onboard Sound. It's Realtek and not much chop. Motherboards with out onboard sound are hard to find which even when turned off in the bios seem to cause conflicts.
A decent soundcard for monitoring purposes are hard to get if you don't want a contemporary gaming/cinema version. The solutions are usually spend more money for the outcome of less.

Yes, indeedy. He posted pics of himself holding a limited edition Jackson Randy Rhoads V, supposedly acquired from a pawn shop. A vitriolic exchange between SS and everyone else ensued.
Sorry, I don't make a habit of checking my Visitor Messages...

You are exactly correct, the P90s are attached to the body and the pickguard fits over them. Works well enough for me.

    Cheers,

    Mark
