03 Gibson LP Standard & Marshall DSL Half Silver Ed.

Thinkin' about letting these 2 go. I havn't cranked the Marshall in months and it's just getting to where it's something cool to look at instead of getting used. The LP, well, I love her, but it's just a guitar. I'm thinking of selling both to help fund a nice bass boat, but not 100% on it just yet.


The Marshall is an 05 Silver Edition DSL100. 1 of 200. The cab is matching 1960SL. It has 2 G12-75 and 2 Vintage 30's. The 2 other original 75's come with it. The Gibson is an Amber 03 Standard PP with a set of Zebra APII's.

I ain't got time to post pics now in this thread but just click on my profile and check my albums for pics of everything.

Like I said, I'm not 100% sure I even wanna get rid of them, but I might if the right offer comes along. Feel free to shoot me a PM with any reasonable offer.

How did the V30's impact the tone of the DSL100?

I used 2 in an X pattern with the original 75's. They seemed to sweeten up the sound a bit and give it a more "fluid" tone, at least to my ears.
