What exactly is the "demud"?

You solder a capacitor in line with the hot from the pickup to the pot or switch. Do a search in the Pickup Forum. ArtieToo did it with 59n models with great results. The cap value determines the roll-off frequency so best way to go about it is with a couple alligator clips and some different value caps so you can make a quick change. Then solder in the one you like best.

This is the schematic for Artietoo's de-mud mod. The original mod put it in between the two coils of a humbucker.
But it can be used in between any pickup's hot wire and the volume pot.
In this application it rolls off the bass for the entire pickup rather than affecting just one coil.
That's why I recommended a trimpot, so the effect can be adjusted a bit if needed.

Artietoo saves the day hahaha. He put together a capacitor value tester for me, so I can just hook it up with alligator clips play with the dial and see what value sounds good without having the caps in hand.

Yeah that's not what I'm looking for, the upper end sounds good, would changing the cap value do me any good or would the mag swap be a better alternative?

Cap values come into play when you roll down the tone pot, and most players don't do that very often. I like using treble bleeds to preserve the high end that you normally lose when rolling down the volume pot. That way you don't lose your tone. The Kinman treble bleed is one of the better ones; it doesn't get overly bright as you reduce volume, and it doesn't mess up the pot's sweep.

Tagima was never on my radar until now. Didn't know they made the Kiko Louriero sig. Always kinda liked those.

I have a set of BKP Pig 90’s with 500k pots and I am about to swap in a 330k to tame the high end.

It’s really accentuated when I play through the helix worship rig. Not as bad through my stereo tube rig.

But I think the 300-330k will be the ticket.
