Hey guys, looking for a new guitar and I stumbled upon one of these and it looks like it is in mint shape. So far I have found mixed information on this guitar. Any opinions or information for those who have used it or know about it?
Any idea what it might be worth in good shape?

Thanx for any help.

Re: 1988 Washburn KC70V?

I had a Washburn KC40V (white, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fretboard) and it was a pretty good guitar. Looked a lot like an Ibanez 540 Power. I love Washburns from that era because they were built very good and the prices now are pretty good. My current main guitar is a Washburn USA EC26 Atlantis model from circa 1991 amd I love it.

Here's some info on the KC series in general:

What's the price they are asking for it??

About $280 cdn. Which seems like a really good deal as the pics show it is in mint condition, one owner and he has not played it in a long time as it does not fit his style.
So I am considering it...

That's a great price for that guitar... Would be an excellent canvas for some new pickups!

My KC40v was pretty heavy for it's size though. Good for tone, bad for the shoulders an back but that don't matter to me.
