This is a KILLER swamp ash boddied boutique Strat! With the MG series USA Washburns I have I just don't play this one so it needs a new home. I play allmost exclusively in Churches doing worship and with the wiring issues in most of the smaller churches I play in single coils don't cut it. It just doesn't make sense to drop a bucker in the bridge of this one or EMG's with me having 5 of the USA MG guitars so this one needs a new home.
1994 LS-93 Silverado built in the Washburn Chicago Custom Shop under the watchfull eye of Grover Jackson. KILLER highly figgured swamp Ash body finished in Crimson Red Nitro, one piece Maple neck with rosewood skunk stripe, flat board, Dunlop 6105 med Jumbo frets, Wilkerson 100 trem, locking Goto tuners, Fender CS 54 nech ,SSL-1 RW/RP middle, Bridge SSL-3 Hot For Strat. A couple tiny scratches but over all verry clean and you have to look to find a flaw in this one. I just set it up and intonated it with 9's no fret wear and it plays like BUTTER!!
$600 + actual cost to ship in a nice Gator soft shell case.

Re: 1994 Washburn LS-93

I agree on the amazing Strat part. It's IMO the best Strat I have ever owned ( and that includesthe Lake Placid Blue December 1965 rosewood board Strat I have owned ). These are every bit as nice as ANYTHING that Fender is putting out from the Custom Shop and rival stuff like the Groshes. Problem for me is I'm just not a 3 single coil Strat guy and it says Washburn on the headstock not Grosh, Hamer or Fender so the resale is not what it should be for something like this one.
I have 5 of the Washburn USA Custom MG series Super-Strats that Grover designed while running that shop. As good as the Silverado is I just like the feel of the slimmer necks and the looks and tones of the smaller boddied rear routed bucker equipt MG's better so this one is sitting in the case.
It's allways sad to see a KILLER ( and quite rare I might add ) guitar I own leave but this one as good as it is just is not a personal fit.
I am still a Washbun Grover Jackson era Custom Shop freak and still own 7 of these guitars not counting the Silverado.
Miss it maybe some butregret selling --naw I still have THESE

Re: 1994 Washburn LS-93

I understand...I managed to get one here in Portugal for a really good price, and the info came all from your posts, mainly on the Washburn forum.

For anyone who is thinking about this, just buy it! I have a friend who has had numerous vintage strats, his favourite is a 70 transition model with "greys"...and he was stunned by my Washburn!

Good luck with the sale!
