2017 Les Paul Tribute satin Gold top

I bought a Les Paul Tribute Satin Gold Top, this is a great guitar, a pure Gibson very well build, awesome finish, very hot sound.

I paid 700 US$ for this beauty.

I polished the satin finish and I love the result, I' m very surprised how shiny gloss became the finish, incredible !

I switched cream plastics with black, Historic TRC and switch tip. I will upgrade the bridge with a Gibson ABR-1 .

Knobs don' t match very well IMHO ... Any idea ?

Black tophats with gold inserts would be more in keeping with all the rest of the black trim you have on the guitar.

I actually like the satin gold on the Tributes. The finish is pretty thin on those, I'd be afraid I'd remove it. But that came out really nice, what did you polish it with?

Agree with Doc, black tophats with gold inserts.

I used a scratch remover with a pad, 2 hours hand made job . Again, incredible result :banana:
