2x 805 Overdrives =

great tone!



I updated my pedalboard a couple of weeks ago and using the 2 805 pedals together is really given me a great driven tone.

I have the pedals set roughly how they are in the pic, and it works fantastically well with both my Surfer-loaded G&L Legacy and my PRS McCarty with Whole Lotta Humbuckers. I use a Pickup Booster to give the Legacy a little leg up, and it all goes into my JTM45 Reissue.

We played last night and, in addition to it being a great night, I was really happy with my tone.

That's pretty much how I have my two ODs set up on my board, one for actual dirt, one for a volume push, 'cept they're MXR Classic ODs.

I like how these 805s have a TMB EQ.

Is it my eyes or are they both set up for a little treble bump and a bass cut?

I've probably pushed the bass a little more and reigned in the treble since that pic.

Interesting!

I rarely cascade drive pedals live, but do it all the time when recording, even with fuzz pedals.

I've been running my deadhorse some with a devi ever dark boost, I really want to stack it with a cor mid boost...

Stacking OD's can produce some amazing results!

Great board Stevie, the booster pedal has always intrigued me but I've never gotten one. if ever I get my latest JTM revolved I'm going to try stacking drive pedals.
