3TS Sunburst Tele.

I'm looking for a nice bound bodied tele caster.
I'm totally in love with the really bright 3TS finish. Some of the MIJ teles have 3TS's which aren't as nice.

something like that where the red and yellow parts of the 3TS finishes are really relaly bright.

i love it how the yellows just totally are blinding. the MIJ ones seem to be a lil bit dull where the wood provides more colour and grain.

Should i just keep checking on ebay, i definately cannot afford to spend like $4000 on a custom shop but i really want the sorta tele. Any help, keeping in mind i stay in Perth, Australia. (stores here sell at very expensive prices.)

well, i have an MIJ and i think it looks like those. You may be deceived by the lighting in those pictures. depending on how direct the light is, the yellow may change a bit. Though i do agree that there are some old Sunburst finishes that feature a very bright yellow

I think some of the older MIJ may look like them, but all the pictures, website and home shots, seem to be very dull. It seems that the type i am lusting after have a very discrete or no grain showing at all. I dunno much about teles in terms of history though

Well I guess you can spring for a Warmoth Tele?

They should have some finishes that will get you close to the ones you so dearly want..
