498t paired with (new neck pickup) and 490R paired with (new bridge pickup)

Hi all.

As the title suggests, I am looking at changing the 498T 490R combo with other pickups.
It will be going into an Orville LP custom and as I am digging the 498T more so in this guitar than the 490R, I am thinking of throwing in a 59B into the neck position to go with the 498t.

I would like to hear what other pickup swaps (and also mag swaps) have turned out well for you to get a good neck PU to pair with the 498T and also a good bridge PU to pair with the 490R.

I'd be worried that a 59B would be too boomy in the neck.

I'd just put a new magnet in the 490R. A5, UOA5, A3 ... you get the idea.

+1. The neck pickup that gets called bassy/boomy more often than any other on this forum is '59N, and it's usually in an LP when that happens. I've put A5's in 490R's and it's like a whole neck pickup. More clarity, any dark, muddy sound is gone. Much better match for a 498T.
