I have 6 Custom hybrids (4 with the 59 and two with a Demon) and "honestly" didn't like any of them with a A5. Most of them have UOA5 mags in them and a couple have A2 mags and they have remained as such ever since I made them.

There, now you at least know one.

I love the 59/custom hybrid as is too. It is my favorite bridge humbucker. Just experimenting is all.

And like I said, b2r's hybrids usually use A2 and A4. Most of the hybrids BEFORE coming into full circulation in Duncan's line ups were probably not A5.

Are you hardwired in asshat mode or can that be true bypassed? He wasn't trying to put you in your place (much as you may deserve it) but rather demonstrate that there are other people out there that use hybrids with magnets other than A5.

Are you hardwired to be a nosy little pest? The only thing he was demonstrating was bombast. What kind of dork calls somebody an "asshat?" That's corny, but you are a weird little guy anyway. You made a fool of yourself like most people who stick their noses in other people's business. If you read his previous post he was obviously trying to do just that. Would you prefer if everyone used a standard list of insults? That sounds like something that a fascist dictator would say. I don't know why you think that your response to someone in a topic on a public forum is private enough to warrant "sticking my nose in other people's business". And yes, you did not say that nobody uses other magnets. But when you use loaded language to imply that anybody that does use other magnets is wrong, you might as well have. Was that prosaic enough for you?

NO! Mr know-it-all, you are absolutely wrong. If you weren't so dogmatic and narcissistic maybe you would realize that there are other people with other opinions than yours in this world. And maybe those other people are actually more polite than you are.

I have to admit that you ARE very good at calling other people names, and yet very touchy when someone else lets you know your shortcomings.

I truly believe that you are the only one who has "made a fool of yourself". If you weren't so into yourself maybe you could see that.

I wasn't trying to "put you in your place" (although Heaven knows you need it), I was just letting you see past yourself that there actually are others who who use the c/59 hybrid with other magnets and really like it that way.

You call me "GuitarDick" for that?! Time to start looking at the man in the mirror. It could help you be a more useful contributor to this forum. You actually DO have some good experience and opinions that can be helpful to many forum members. You just need to be a bit more humble and express your opinions as "your opinions" and let other people have theirs. Other people DO have valid opinions and don't need you to call them names because of them.
