A couple tests at swirl dipping.

I'm not positive I'll be doing this to my Peavey or not. Just doing a few samples to get the thinner/paint ratio figured out. I'm using Rustoleum paints. Bought small containers of the black and white for the tests.

I think I have the mixes down, but I'm going to be pretty nervous if I do actually decide to dip the guitar.

first sample on the left looks sick, I actually would love that on one of my guitars, looking forward to see it on an actual guitar, you should do it!

its watertransfer, right? there's many more really cool stuff you can do with that method besides swirls

I guess it's watertransfer....lol. Yeah I'm digging the left side of the top piece too. The other side was a re-dip in the same solution.

Dip a mop in the paint and drag it across the body once, from neck to tail. Let it dry, then do another pass left to right.
