One of my many techie tube amp book says that when it comes to can caps,bigger is better,as it's capable of storing more electrical energy....Not sure how true this is? The caps look cool also and they are taller and longer like the Dalys I pulled years ago

"..unlike those foreign made capacitors..." - what's wrong with high quality capacitors made in England or Germany (LCR/F&T)? Either he's trying to imply they're made somewhere they're not or he's trying to play on people's xenophobia.
I've just replaced some Ruby caps that went bad after only being a year old with high quality F&T ones, I like the F&T as they look vintage and blue. Most late 60's Marshall's I've seen with caps on top had short ones for the screens/mains and a tall one for the PI cap, so I might go with one of these ARS for the PI cap when I replace that.
