A little help with a neck pup to match a demon

Well I normally don't ask much on here but I'm really not sure what to go with in my current situation. The guitar - mahogany/rosewood/bolt-on/25.5" nice smooth and warm guitar, extremely sustainy and resonant. I was wanting to put a demon in the bridge. However, I'm afraid since its not extremely hot that the neck pup may potentially overpower it.

A few pups I was looking at for the neck were... PAF pro, Air Classic, Jazz

Sounds I'm going for... This is the hard part, as I can totally hear it just not really describe it well. I'm not looking for a high gain killer just something that can handle progressive tones to fusion tones. Sounds along the line of Shawn Lane, Pain of Salvation, and Opeth all mixed together.

Any suggestions?

i had a alnico pro humbucker in my les paul neck with the demon, found it a little too bright contrasting with the demon. I wished for a thicker sounding demon so i replaced hex pole pieces with screw poles that helped with treble but still wanted more thickness/guts, took out the demon and chucked a patb1 in the bridge but still not to fond, maybe too middy now damn!

maybe i'll suggest a jazz neck for u seems brighter than a aph on the tone chart at least

Jazz neck is like a demon in bridge , and if you want more power from Demon just slap an Alnico 8 in !

Yeah I've thought about using the 8 in there. I might try that eventually.
