So, my DPDT switch on my tele broke the other day...so I went out and bought another one. This time, I got it home, and found that it was a DP3T switch, an ON/ON/ON.

So...Instead of goin out and buying another one...i've decided "f*** it" and I'll just figure out a way to make this one work.

So...I've got this switch....I've also got two push-pull pots if I need em...I wanna be able to split my pickups (its an HH guitar), but...I'm feelin a little experemental, what else can i possibly do with this guitar?

EDIT: if yall could hook me up with some schmatics thta would reek of awesomeness :D

Just to be clear, are you sure its DP3T? The 3T doesn't refer to "handle positions", but to contact points. Does it have 6 lugs?

It does have 6 lugs, though I'll admit I shouldn't be using this terminology cause I'm still pretty new to it :smack:.

No prob. ;) That just means it works like this:

There are some interesting things to with that. Let me see what I can come up with, and other folks too.

That switch is ideal for Series/Split/Parallel options on one of your pups.
