Am i the only one who likes peavey blue marvels?

The 15" Blue Marvel in the Delta Blues is awesome! The 12" in the Classic 30 not so much.

Re: Am i the only one who likes peavey blue marvels?

Having owned a C50 and a C30, I think that they are decent enough. Not saying that I won't experiment if I purchase one in the future, but the panties-in-a-wad attitude I hear toward the Blue Marvels is something I don't hear myself. :)

I'm talking about the 12. Spudman, i'd be interested in hearing more about the 15, as that amp is a possible future purchase!

It is just one of those things.
Certainly nothing "wrong" with the Blue Marv.
It kind of reminds me of the Eminence Legend (was it the 128.?) that Fender put in so many of the HRDlx, Blues Dlx, and several other amps. Most players seemed to find it kind of lack luster. Not horrible, just that there seemed to be a lot of "better" speakers available.
If You like it, then it is good. Of course, if you do not compare it to a few others.....you may never know for sure.
good luck

Maybe I was a bit harsh...

I should disclose that I have a nicely broken in Emi Red Coat Pvt Jack pining away for a C30...

Perhaps.....but for years the Emi GB12 was the "go to" speaker for the PV C-30.
The Private Jack would be the "logical" modern day trend from that.
Nice Speaker...

Im sure a set of texas heats or swamp thangs would make it sound even better, but my classic 50 sounds damn sexy with good tubes and stock speakers.
