Hi everyone...
With my white voodoo strat and my David Gilmour strat I'm a little top-heavy in Strats with vintage tone. With that said, I've decided to sell my American Stratocaster. This is an Ash strat with a Sienna Sunburst finish. The guitar features:
- 22-fret maple neck
- Ash body finished in Sienna Sunburst
- Modern 2-point tremolo
- Aged white pickguard with a full set of Custom Shop 69 pups
- "Blender Pot" mod for the last tone control
- White plastic parts
- Fender hardshell case
The guitar is gorgeous, and the Sienna Sunburst is a $150 upgrade. The overall condition is 8 out of 10. The body has 4 pencil-tip sized nicks/dings and two go to the wood. These are VERY small, but they are there. The bridge is in great condition, but the saddle height screws could use a little cleaning. The neck is in great condition, but the frets have a little bit of flattening. Plenty of life, but the guitar has been played (and rightly so).
The electronics are new, as is the pickguard. All positions work flawlessly and the guitar sounds wonderful.
I'll shoot a few pics of the guitar this weekend, but here is a picture of the guitar from Fender's site. (note, my guitar does not have the bent-steel saddles).
I'm looking for $850 shipped. Thanks!
